increased vibration progressive touring link
Proper Engine/Trans alignment and the condition of the rear motor mounts are critical in this application.
If anything is off, or worn badly, or if the link needed to be forced on, you'll get some vibration as a result.

When I jacked up my bike to put the link on, I raised the rear tire off the ground first to check for play in the rear, I had a pretty good amount of slop compared to a non-rubber mounted bike. I figured I was gonna get bad vibs and would have to replace some things, but I got lucky, or my slop is within spec? heheh Only thing I can say is that HD should have had these on there from the factory, or retro fitted them on a recall. But we all know how that goes..........
Also, when I put mine on, I followed the directions, the mount bolted on and lined up perfectly with no moving things around or adjusting the link. I think if you had to pry things around or adjust the length of the link to get the bolts on, that would be an indicator of worn parts needing to be replaced?
