Default VHT Flame Proof Header paint.

With the high price of exhaust systems and the fact I can't find a decently recommended powder coater in BFE southern Missouri. Was thinking about giving this a shot. Label says to bake three times so guess it is pretty close to powder coating. I'll try the header pipes first in case I don't like the results. Would hate to ruin a set of heat shields. Seems cobra doesn't make satin black heat shields for their true duals that I can find. Need to buff a few scratches out of the SE mufflers before I give those a try.

VHT works pretty good. I painted a header pipe on my old sport bike with the aluminum grey color.. I did in fact use the oven. Waited for my lovely bride to be gone for the day. The paint looked perfect and looked fine 8 years later when I sold the bike. Pizza didn't taste funny so I figured I was in the clear!

We have a old oven in the basement thats going in the yard sale so, I'm sure it will do the trick.
