Sent you a on. I have an 07 but can try to scan the pages if I get time.
Thanks, great offer. I do have a service manual, just didn't dig it out. I ended up just putting a wrench to it, and was able to get it off. The fuel line twisted some, bit no damage done.
My 04 did it, tried to replace o ring, ended up buying new quick disconnect. Seems you can do one of two ways, just the disconnect but it still requires you to take hose off inside tank, or just replace all the hoses in the tank along with the quick disconnect. since mine was 10 plus years old, I did a complete fuel tank service, including all hoses filter quick disconnect etc . I even changed the float and reset the tank level.
mine was leaking like…. was able to get it to stop by cleaning it good and adding a dab of vasoline think the o ring was rolling out just a bit and the gasoline let it go together.
I had my fuel tank hose, and quick connect changed, when it was leaking, by an Indy for $150. He said '03 hoses were too long, rubbed against the tank, and leaked, so good time to replace.
I drove to Tripple S hd in Morgantown WV (two hours 1 way) and got my new check valve. They are one of two within a two hour radius that is open on Sunday's. Got it installed, but had some issues, the fuel line in the tank must have had a kink in it, and it was running like crap. Had to take everything back apart, and re install everything, and all is working now.
Only issue now is my fuel gauge is not working, and the low fuel light is on, even with a full tank of gas. My guess is the float got stuck on something when I reassembled the fuel pump/ filter assembly. I'm not to worried about for now as the fuel gauge is pretty much worthless anyway.
Anyhow, she is no longer leaking fuel, and is running great.
