Why didnt HD come up with a cool nickname for the TC88 nad TC96 engine.
Knucklehead
Panhead
Shovelhead
Evolution (still sort of cool)
TC88 (UGGGGGGGGLLLLLLEEEEEE)
I have heard them called BLOCKHEAD by a few people.
Suggestions?
...Harley doesn't give em those names.. Pan, shovel, knuckle, EVO, fathead and twinkie all come from street..most based on how the engine looks...so, come up with a new name and see if it sticks..may I suggest Twinkie + for TC96.

According to this site: http://www.whybike.com/motorcycle260.htm
here is the definition of a BLOCKHEAD.
Blockhead - Harley-Davidson's innovative EvolutionÂŽ V-Twin engine.
Looks like we are going to have to come up with soething different for the TC88. However in sticky with tradition the evo and tc engines do 'look' the same. So we can still use Blockhead. As stated the name refers to the look of the cylinder head covers. I like Blockhead.
