Default Flush front axle

I'm gahtering parts for an Enforcer wheel swap. I got a wheel with 25mm non abs bearings already in it, and rather than press them out to install 1 inch bearings I'm going to swap axles. Seems an opportune time to try a flush mounted axle, so what should I look for? Is one preferred over another and why? I see Native Custom Baggers has one for $50, anybody running one? http://www.nativecustombaggers.com/i...lack-ends.html

I have a FBI flush front axle. It is a quality made part, and it was an easy install. The native baggers one seems like a very good price but be careful you usually get what you pay for.

The 25mm one native sells is $70.

I bought the Hill Country one from Amazon. In black it was almost $90. Easy install. Looks a ton better. I also bought the flush mount fork lower end cap. Makes the bottom of the forks match. Looks cleaner.

I have the Hogpro set up. Consider servicing your forks before the install. You'll have to remove the captive nut to get to the 6mm screw.

One side is more or less pressed into the lower fork - captive nut. It acts as a "nut" and the axle screws into it. No you don't need a press to install it.

Sanman is right though. Once you put the captive nut in its pretty hard to get back out should you need to get to that 6mm lower fork bolt later. Not impossible, just a pain.
