Why didn't it work? What was the problem with the tool?

I use the kastar a lot, i work on a ton of bikes at home, it gets in with a lot of different pipes sometimes you have to loosen the 2 end muffler bolts to get it in. One thing with any length extension the torque wrench must be used at 90 degrees to the tool or the torque is wrong. The $20 one looks like it will work fine just w/o ratcheting. Mike

I have this one as well but I wish it was cut for a 1/2" drive torque wrench. I don't have a 3/8 that goes high enough for a rear axle nut.

no problem with the tool, it's just not needed. the other tool that holds the adjustment inplace while you tighten the axle is much more usefull.

It's easy to forget the nut holder. I forgot mine and didn't notice it until after a few hundred miles.

But the ebay one he linked to is also just $20 and the amazon one is what I linked to twenty posts ago and has been linked to about 3 times since by others.

Regardless, its a good wrench...... too bad nobody seems to be picking up on it.

there's a thread on here somewhere a person made one and then welded it to the end of the axle to help keep the axle from rotating.
