alternate jiffy stand

I just installed the extended shift levers from Walter's and have a new issue. Because of the longer heel shifter, it's difficult to make contact with the tab on the jiffy stand. I installed the jiffy stand extension but this makes no difference. I have seen jiffy stands with much longer tabs for contact with the foot. Anyone know of these and if they would fit on the EG classic?

Did the extension not reach back far enough? Mine sticks out about 2" and no more kicking the derby cover.
