Canned maps aren't correct for all/any bikes. Basic auto tune will help. How much depends on how bad the original canned map is. Proper dyno tune will improve the canned & "auto" tuned map. Why would ya buy a good tuner and not tune the bike with it?? Depends if ya want your bike to run "right" or not I guess???
I have the power vision with auto tune. I did the auto tune a few months ago and it did a great job! Once summer hits a little harder I will do another tune for summer time. Also I like that I can change at will. Such as traveling in states that only sell ethanol, high altitudes, two up or combination of the above. And I can change the tune in a matter of a few minutes. I think its worth it. My $.02

Auto tune is easy and beneficial. There are quite a few videos to explain just how on DynoJet's web site. Last weekend I changed mufflers and today I went out and ran 2 auto tunes of about 1/2 hour each. The result was no cells changed more than 4%.
We live at 5700 ' and I'll take the units with us on vacation to auto tune when we get down towards sea level if we feel it necessary.
I've done 8 on mine just playing around when I got it in Feb.. It's 45 degrees warmer now, bout time to do it again.. Get out ride the dog **** out of it and watch all your cells populate
I also got my PV from Fuelmoto,I did several auto tune sessions on my bike and it ran better. But i did notice some issues with throttle response and a small flat spot at a certain RPM. Emailed Jamie at FM and he revised the last auto tune session and emailed it back, now the bike runs better than before.
Well loaded the map and took bike out for a ride. Seems as thou some of you guys have sensitive butts. I noticed the bike is running smoother, But another ride tomorrow will help with evaluation.
Also installed the programmer and ready to start auto tune...
Thanks for all the input. I'll keep you guys posted.
