nope sorry it was the belt to tight , been on it all day after I readjusted it and now no whistle or chrip . man my 06 road king did that too . we even sent the bub 7 back and they sent new ones . n they still did the same thing , I guess its true you live and you learn . thanks guys

im wondering why a chirp emitted from the belt. also. ive never taken my bike to a Harley dealer for anything. a few have good reputations but mine dosnt. Some kid fresh out of a so called mechanics school prob got assigned to your bike. unless its something major or catastrophic, im not letting them touch my bike. all basic maint. is done by me. tightening a belt is so basic and simple that its just a major rip off for what they charge at the dealer. you can get all the info you need on this forum. a wealth of knowledge on this site IMHO
