It wasn't list, but in the NorthEast, I always try to fill the bike up on Sunoco Ultra. It has consistently been a great gas in all my HD's over the years.
I forgot to mention I have not seen 93 octane here in Vegas. Its all 91 or 100 at rebel stations but you think $3.00 is high.
Premium has hit $3.00/gal. here (Baton Rouge) for the first time, and the Exxon refinery is 15 miles away. I think it will go higher through the summer, and an energy expert on NPR said gas would go up 50¢/gal. every year for the near future. Time for a hybrid HD, I guess.
SW Washington and the Portland OR area is seeing 92 at $3.39 - $3.45/gal. I hear that only Cali and Hawaii are more expensive than us. I heard an interview on the radio the other day with this fellow that had just visited Iran and the price of gas there is .. Are you ready?
$0.39/gal [:@]
Don't tell me there is an oil problem! There's a f@#$!n GREED problem! And Exxon reports 7.64 BILLION in profits for the 2nd qtr. Makes me mad that they can get away with this.
Gas was more expensive in the '70s when adjusted for inflation. Remember that HALF of the cost of gas is taxes! And what tax man ever invested, explored, drilled, pumped, refined or delivered a drop in his life? Stop listening to NPR and start voting for reps who will allow ANWAR drilling and coastal derricks. After all, we have a 500-year supply of oil -within our own nation. Unless and until we get over the NIMBYS and build nuke plants and more refineries, it's only just begun.
does anyone use less than 91 octane? I live in a small town with only two stations that have 87 or 89 that has ethonal in it, and pretty much fill up with 87 all the time and I never have any problems
