Put it in the wife's bike at the beginning of the season. Neutral is easier to find and it shifts a little smoother. I had Amsoil gear lube in there previously and the new formula is definitely better. I will switch mine over next time I place an order for oil.
Synthetic in the primary? Whatever happened to regular old oil or ATF in the primary? I'd be curious to see how the AMSOIL performs at 4 or 5K.....

harley has been putting synthetic oil in their primaries for years now, in the CVO bikes. works fine. there is better stuff though. (but I'm not going down that road!!!)
I'm running Amsoil 20/50 in my engine, their new transmission lube (I thinks it's 75/90 with a new label) in the transmission and their new "primary fluid" in the primary.
The engine is a little quieter, the transmission is a little quieter, shifts without such a loud clunk, and neutral is MUCH easier to find. Primary is quieter. Not so sure how necessary the primary "fluid" is. 20/50 will work in all three. Whatever I use I need 38oz for the primary so 1 qt ain't gonna do it.
Even with their dedicated transmission and primary lubricants, Amsoil still recommends using the 20W-50 in all three. I got this info from an Amsoil rep.

It must be something in the primary fluid that allows the clutch plates to not "stick" together that helps with the clunk.

I was thinking of switching to the red line heavy shock for my trans. I run amsoil 20w50 MC oil in my V rod an it shifts better an the clutch feel was a big improvement.
Recently Amsoil came out with a Tranny specific fluid and a Primary specific fluid. They appear to be a synthetic version of Formula Plus. Anyone have any experience with these products?
Just serviced my 2015 Street Bob-FXDBP.
I used the Amsoil Tranny and Primary only oils.
I am not much to heap praise on stuff like this BUT; THIS STUFF IS GREAT!!!
Man, is my shifting BUTTER smooooooooth and the clutch action is sliiiiiiiick.
Can't wait until my '15 FLHTCU needs service!!!
