Almost 60 isn't bad, I'm 68 and still no riding problems, and there's plenty of guys on the forum in their 70's. You'll know when/if you need that trike, don't worry about it till then.

Frame mount fairings are the best handling. The Glide fairings, even the original Tour Glide style like on my old one, and the Vetter Windjammer styles are the best I've ridden behind. I've been on some bar/fork mount fairings that would scare you passing a semi; most of the time you won't even feel them on the ones I mentioned. The dual headlights on the Glides light up the road real good, too.

I sure wouldn't call a Ural any kind of replacement for a Harley, too slow for high speed roads, and the handling... not like a two wheeler at all. A hoot? Oh yeah! Got a fairly cheap '07 to take the 6 year old grandson for rides (picked him up at school yesterday, he sure loved that). I can get all my groceries with a bike, too. Not planning any long trips with it, though.

Daughter and grandson. She's driving me in my avatar. I need to sell my first Ural, in the sig pic, it's an old one, hasn't been reliable enough for much use.

oh, i realize its not a high speed maneuver vehicle but by the time i'm ready i'll probably be slowing down anyway. the prospect of the two wheel drive and off road capability intreges me. plus, i have a dog i'd love to take on rides..... have a great time with the kids.
