Baker's Comp in Bike
Couple weeks ago I put the Bakers new compensater in my 2012 Street Glide. I realy like it. Bike starts smooth, can't tell much different on sound. The old comp in first gear going slow and feathering the clutch had a chain slap, like starting out in 2nd gear. This seems to be gone. Bakers has a shorter ramp or engagement, this maybe why. I put the 45 oz. (dry) HD requires, I used Redline. Baker say 32oz. will work, I think little extra ok, heat maybe leak maybe.
Not bad to put in. Didn't have to take clutch out. The torque value for the primary cover on 2012 are little higher than other years. I went 140 in.lbs. low side. 130 should be ok. 2007 was like 125. Nice comp.
