Default How to find correct apes?

Finally ditched my softail for a bagger
Finally joined this forum
After searching and reading countless posts/threads, I just need to ask.
I am really leaning towards the twin peaks 10" or 12" for my 2015 sgs.
My only concern is if there is enough pull back.
Could one just roll the bars back to desired position?

Also, I have read about bleeding brakes. Why would brakes need to be bled
by just changing bars w/o changing cables?

On the road to making this bike mine$$$$$

Without changing cables u don't need to bleed the brakes. And yea you can pull the bars back to suite ur needs

Here's a Youtube to consider what size bars you want - as far as pullback goes, this is usually limited by the tank

The Twin Peaks are nice bars. They don't have much pullback though. Look great.
The WO577s are great bars with a bunch of pullback. Real popular. A lot of people go with them because they are very comfortable and you can maintain that bar "going straight up" look and still have pullback.

The problem with rotating any bar (to make pullback) is that too much and the wrist angle gets weird. So... don't do that.

I was also looking for a lot of pullback so I went with Wild One's 577's. I have had them for 5 years on my 2010 Ultra and love them.
