Default Console Trim

I picked up this seat off craigslist this afternoon for my "packless" around town cruising. It "fits" but doesn't provide the overlap the touring seat does. Does HD make an additional trim to cover this gap for low profile seats?

Also thinking about removing the passenger handles. The wife doesn't use them and they look lame with this seat.

You can also replace it with the long console. http://www.harley-davidson.com/store/fuel-tank-console

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I went ahead with a chrome plate from drag specialties, think it makes the most sense given the bikes current look.

Rode into work today and gotta say, LOVE the street trim. It's a lot less clumsy on the boulevard dealing with traffic.
