Default Rev tech DFO

I bought a rev tech dfo for the 06 ultra because it runs so lean, I started the install tonight and it says unbolt the the gas tank and prop it up so you can run the wires and get at the connectors, I don't think so. I ended up removing the gas tank completely in order to be able to run the wires. Anyone end up doing this also or did I miss something?

I unbolt the front and the back. I lift the front and then shift the tank a bit to the left. I make the wire connections with a set of pistol grip needlenose pliers.

How did you run the wires?

Run the wires in the plastic loom that goes up the backbone. If you can't get them in there you can run them next to it and cable tie them to it. Just make sure the tank doesn't sit on them.
