Heat wrap may work. I've only done on a few softails and it worked great.

I've thought about heat wrap on the pipe only in the section that likes to fry my inner left thigh.

I know trapping heat where it stays in the pipe longer tends to lessen the longevity of the pipe, but a 1' section of pipe heat wrapped might be okay.

Our product will do the job for you. Very easy to install and it has a little larger foot print than the others. But it will help you out .

+1 on the Crotch Cooler. I put one on a month ago and can't believe the difference it made. So much better then the stock mid frame heat shields.

Will your shield hang down low enough to cover the rear cylinder head pipe where it comes out from under the frame/seat area and makes the sharp bend before it angles down to go under the saddle bag?

Not only that, but had maybe you been just a tad more observant (oh that's right you look through your windshield) you would have noticed in "MY SIG" that I run "Slimline duals" not Tru-Duals".
They are more like the 09 Head pipe.
Remember that expert?

Oh I get it, you think I was talking about your problem? This is the OP's thread, not yours. You get all up in a wad because I was staying on topic (as I quoted in my reply) with the OP rather then it being all about you. Wow thanks for all the personal attacks too. I'm not and never was addressing your left or right leg and sorry but now I don't really care if it burns off.
