Default Shorty Antennas

Looking at replacing my Harley 33” stock antennas for shorties. Looking at Kuryakyn’s dual function 17” AM/FM/CB antennas for $30 each (obvious you have to buy two). Kuryakyn also says “comes tuned so no calibration is needed”. (What?) That’s above my pay grade. Screw it in a hope it works is the way I figure it. Anyway, anyone have these or another recommendation? Appreciate the input.

I've got the Harley Shorty Antennas. Both are 19" and seem to work fine.
AM/FM 76388-08
CB 76386-08 or 76386-09A. Both retail for 29.95.
Not a good picture, but mounted on my 13 Street Glide which I added CB module.

Can't speak to the CB but the 14.99 rubber duckie from Advance auto is good for FM.

The Rubber Duckie does work well on AM/FM, just can't match a CB antenna to it...

Yeah that for me too. The HDs will work. Save $ some where else.

I got back from a ride to Georgia from Florida. Had the CB on channel 19. I would hear chatter on the channel sometime, loook forward and in my mirrors and did not see any vehicles. When I ride in a group, The pack is only 1/2 to 3/4 miles apart......harley shortys work fine.

Since you have a rushmore bike, if you are getting the HD shorty CB antenna, make sure you get part #76386-09A since its for 09 and later bikes with CB. The 08 and earlier are tuned differently. Though even with the proper cb antenna on the rushmore bikes, it still gives really poor performance.
