how do these gauges work. what else goes with the gauge. i see a sensor but where does it go? is it part of the regular civilian harness? i want to put it on my bike but not sure how it works. thanks
usually the P spec models have a blank insert in that left lower hole, and the right hole plug has a 1/4" microphone jack for the PA system
do yourself a huge favor and get the Police bike service manual with the electrical diagrams. The wiring is different than the Electraglide civilian base models
and there are tens of thousands of those air temp gauges sitting in tool boxes and parts bins, they get ripped out and replaced with a OIL TEMPERATURE gauge, which is what the MoCo should be putting in from the factory instead of a useless inaccurate thermometer.
Do yourself a favor, put an oil pressure gauge on the right side and a oil temp gauge on the left
PS the air temp sensor is mounted behind the fairing from the factory, you can put it anywhere it will fit it won't matter
