IMHO this gauge is useless. I would have paid moreto havean oil temperature gauge in that spot.

I think Harley ought to put a Bubble Level in there instead, so that when you're drunk, you'll know if you've fallen over.

yada..yada..yada.. oil temp gauge.. adjust/move sensor.. compass.. BS MoCo..that's pretty much all of it..right.

If you want to keep the temp guage just move the sensor outside and below the fairing.

Yeah...that doggone 'Ambient' temp gauge is an embarrassment, if you ask me. I'm thinking of installing the compassin its place. I like to travel in unfamilar areas and the compass might come in handy at times.

I installed a bar mount MP3 player case that pretty much covers it up. I'll have to ask someone if it's hot out.
