Custom dynamics and BAL pretty much always end up at the top of the list in this discussion. I personally prefer custom dynamics. Based on your signature you many need a load balancer as well.
3rd Custom Dynamics. I have their led brake light on my 08 and its been flawless. In three years I haven't lost one led. Like Smitty said, no load equalizer needed for the single brake lamp (just for turn signals), just plug and play. I've had two of their brake lamps, one for a metric and my RK and couldn't be happier. Unlike some of the complaints on B.A., its very noticeable from tail lamp to brake lamp.

my brake light burned out last night and im thinking bout replacing it with an LED bulb instead, anyone here have recommendations on what to use?
If you're putting in just an LED replacement make sure you get a RED LED bulb. Your tail light lense filters out all colors of the spectrum except red. So all of light energy emitted by the red LEDs will pass through the lense.
I would agree with the Custom Dynamics. If you were just looking at a single LED bulb for a replacement, don't bother. Tried 2 different types on a lay down taillight that you cannot use a regular bult on. Bright in the center of the lens but the rest was pretty dim. It was not safe in my opinion so off it went and now have a full LED brake light on both my wifes bike and mine.
