Default Firing Up Problem

I have an issue hopefully someone can help. This just happened yesterday after 2 successful starts and runs. I went to fire the bike up after leaving the store and when I flipped the kill switch to run, the bike started right up without me even touching the start swtich. Not only did it do that but when it started there was an immediate "grinding" noise. Best way I can describe it. Now I realize it might not be anything grinding but its the only way I can describe the sound. I shut the bike off waited a few and turned it back on. Same thing bike fired up when I flipped the switch to run and started making the sound again. After a few more tires of turning it off and back on everytime the bike started up when the killswitch was flipped to run and the noise started immediately after. A few times the noise would stop after a few seconds and other times just keep going getting louder and louder.

I'd check the wiring in the switch housing that goes to the run stop switch first. It sounds like there is some sort of issue with it.

Sounds to me like the starter solenoid is sticking.

I am checking the wires in the switch housing and they all seem to be normal no spots where they've rubbed and got hot.
