Just installed the Trucklite phase 7 on my 09. Makes a huge difference in visibility at night and looks good on the bike. I am ordering a new trim ring because it sticks out of housing a little more. $331 on eBay for headlamps and passing lamps and $35 for the trim ring. Light was plug and play and very easy to install. Saved about $500 versus the day maker set up for better lights based on several reviews with a longer warranty. 3 yrs vs 1yr for day makers.
here is a review video it looks very much like the original DayMaker excepted has two more lights for the side division which makes a big difference comes in black or chrome and you can get it on Amazon for 277 shipped I got mine on eBay for 285 shipped . you will need a mounting ring most likely shop around for that I wouldn't pay more than $55 I hear you can get it from the dealer for 42 I did not need one . I would take your headlight out and if you have what looks like a bowl then you need the ring the ring is completely opened up that's how you tell the difference . I have the TL phase 7 headlight and running lamps and quite happy. This JW with the lifetime warranty is very impressive, especially Evo 2 but no mention of running lamps?

I bought one of the knockoffs with added benefit of a halo ring for $150 shipped. The issue with these lights in daytime is seeing them well from angles. The halo ring solves that nicely very pleased with mine it's bright! https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...l#post14021018

Got the headlight in and the hole in the bucket is not big enough for the light. So I can either cut it wider or buy this one. Is this a direct bolt on?

I've got a 15 SGS and was just shopping daymakers myself. the JW looks pretty slick for the price. Just wondering if anyone can verify what adapter ring I'd need? Also, will the HD wiring harness for the 14+ touring bikes direct plug and play to the JW?
