Default Drag Specialties Clutch Cable???

Looking for cables for my 16" Wild 1 apes I just orders. Been looking at Drag Specialties clutch cables, since all I want is black vinyl cables. Anyone have anything bad to say about Drag Specialties cables? Or should I just spring for the LA Choppers?

I have a Drag cable (braided) on my bike. It works great. No problems to speak of as of yet.

Don't know about cables, but I put a D.S. chrome regulator on my bike. Looked real pretty. 102 miles down the road, while slowing to a stop, heard a tinktink noise from in front. looked down to see the V.R. dragging on the road, held by wire harness. Both mount stanchions were broken off. P.O.S. Makes me kinda leery about buying something more from them, although I have seen some quality looking stuff. Just my two cents.

I am using Barnett in black vinyl well constructed cable. Look for extra sleeving on the cable to deal with high heat in engine area cable routes.

Barnett is the only way to go in cables.

I've looked for a +8 Barnett clutch cable and can't seem to find one. I ended up ordering a +8 Magnum Shielding Black Pearl. They seem to have positive reviews....

Not sure where my clutch cable came from im guessin drag specialties. I got it all when i bought my yaffe bars 2 years agom maybe 20,000 miles on it and it snapped today by the lever. Ive heard a tink sound here and there lately at the clutch lever thinkin maybe its just the plastic guide and never gave it a whole lot of thought. Well now i know what that tink sound was. Whats the average life expectensy of a clutch cable. My 03 big dog clutch cable is still goin strong but there is only about 15,000 miles on it.
