I'm 175 and I find the shocks on my 15 RGS to work fairly well, sure its not like it would be if I dropped a grand on a set of Ohlins or the like, but pretty good! It's on the stiffer side, but it seems to dampen fairly well when riding aggressively. I've read a few of these threads now, and it seems like its the big guys that are having problems.

It seems that way , I have tried different settings trying to solve the issue with no results, Harley should explain to consumers if you are 250 plus and you ride 50% of the time two up upgrade to heavy suspension , just BS that the service department tells me this after the fact, the salesman also told me that the roads are flat in Florida so does not know of any issues with suspension , I guess he never road in New Jersey !

I agree with the OP. It's time Harley stopped being so arrogant and started putting quality components on the bikes. Imagine if you bought a new car and it handled like **** and the service dept told you to buy better suspension.
I love my street glide, but with the competition making up ground they better start making real changes. They can afford to put better suspension on the bikes for the price they charge for them.
