I dont know if the engine from 96ci 2007 to 110ci 2012 as changed (were they mount).I knew were they were on the 2007 but this 2012 is different i havent check for them yet .I know on the 2007 there was one under the oil filter.But the 2012 theres a oil cooler there.Just trying to save time ,thats why i asked.I guest i wont be asking those kind of question next time

Ask all the questions you have - that's why most of us are here...

Give your bike a good looking over - something came loose, your bike is probably too new to need motor mounts.


But FYI, Front Motor Mounts are big honking things on a 2012:

Bingo ,thanks alot Joe21rk.By the looks of it, i am missing a bolt right hand side under the floor board .I just see a threaded hole there.(not sure ill double check bolt #2 doesnt seem to be ther

Those are some double D hooters..for sure. Did you find the rear and the upper? I never did and I went thru that whole fish. Is the stabilizer are there is for the upper?

The rear is the swing arm/tranny mount, behind the passenger peg mounts. The upper is just the link from the head to the frame.

Does only the left side of the rear mount, item 17 serve as a frame attachment? Seems like my friends 2004 Roadkings attaches to the frame on both side. However, his front mount was one simple bumper centered mounted with one bolt that had fallen out. Bike wasn't vibrating. Just the engine rocking at idle and cutoff.

Yes, that is the frame attachment. It's basically the same for all touring models.

No the right side is built into the frame. The new frames went from three to four mounts plus the link moved.

Well sure enough i was missing a bolt right were i said.So put a bolt back in.Went for a ride.I am not sure yet will need further testing.One thing is sure,i had the chance to change with my friend 2013 streetglide for a ride,the shifting is alote smoother but is as the cable clutch.As for vibration it seems to be smoother.Ill be testing some more ill keep up to date.
