that il work. dont know if air manifold will need replace too? can get pricey. Id just try to get the mikuni runin with the jet thing that others have suggested.

If it is Mikuni flat slide carb dont even think about replaceing it with an S&S. The Mikuni will always run better when you get it dialed in. What pipes, Baffles? if ther are slip on pull them off and use Permatex Ultra Copper inside the muffler and make sure the clamo is all the way to the front of the muffler where it is split. cant clamp solid pipe. If it is a timing issue for the motor combo you have there is a Screamin Eagle Adjustable Map Ignition module that you can set rev limit and advance.
