One More Stupid Question
Came home from work last Sat., yes, Forth of July, Low fuel light comes on 5 miles from home. Got a 10 mile ride back in in the morning. All I have @ the farm is crappy 87o gasohol and a couple of gallons of VP C105 race gas.
Poured about 1/2 gallon of the VP in the bike for extra reserve. Left home @ 5:30Am w/34 miles to empty. Bike SMELLED wonderfull when I pulled into work, you all know the smell of RACEGAS! Bike was reading 47 miles to empty when I got there. Ran down and filled her up with 91o after work.
My question is,
C105 is 105 octane, oxygenated, LEADED fuel. IF leaded fuel would cause problems with fuel injectors? Lead should lube up the valves, not running stock O2 sensors, PCV, sensors disconnected, as I know leaded fuel can play havoc on O2 sensors. Just wondering if leaded fuel would cause harm to injector system.
Thanks.

I have never heard of lead fouling an injector
sometimes I get lucky and come across some 100LL at the airport.
sweet smell, and that white residue in the pipes.
