Today I installed a Chopped Tour Pack on my '14 SG.
HD $1800.
Mutazu $500.
Mutazu is about 5 miles from my house so I figured I'd check it out.
The staff was very helpful. They mostly deal with internet sales.
Good quality..
Took a few hours of modifying a few parts but I'm happy with it.
At 1/3 the price, I can handle a bit of extra work.

glad you're happy with it. but, i didn't even pay $1800 for my cvo tourpack.....
No problem with saddlebag lid clearance on the TP? When I bought my '15 they had to b/o the tourpak, so I threw the TP off the '12 on until it came in. It was useable, but the saddlebag lids bumped the TP when opening. I just didn't want the pre-14-15 TP on a new bike. I must say, Matazu duped it right down to the crappy hinges. First thing I did on my '12 was spend $50 on premium hinges. I like the chopped TP on the SG/RGs.
I got a phone quote from Livermore HD for $1800 for the color-matched, chopped pack with the wrap around back rest.
The bag lids clear by about 1/2".
The hinges could be better, but I will change them out.
I'm sure if I went through HD there would have been no extra work but the quality would not have been $1300 better.
Just my opinion..

I think more people would be interested in your experience with your purchase, quality, fitment, paint, things you feel should be replaced if any.
Don't let people bust your chops and get into the pricing/quality of oem vs after market, lets hear about your overall experience after you get some miles on it.
I just put a chopped tour pack on my RK.The tour pack plus factory painting plus the lock assembly,4-point docking hardware and the tour pack bracket plus shipping was $1150.00 through a 20% parts discount dealer.I can see why you didn't go for the $1800.00 quote.

if that was directed at me, then you missed my point. i didn't make any derogatory statements towards his aftermarket tourpak. ask any of my friends, i'm well known as a 'cheap bastard', i'm all about saving money. my point was more along the lines of his dealer was overcharging him for the oem tourpak, esp. since his tourpak looks to be vivid black.
