Default New to Me Road Glide.

Traded in the 08 SG. It was paid for and they offered me the right price. This bike has a lot already done. And the price was right. I'm really happy with the decision. I noticed a big difference is the ride. I know all the RG guys always say how much better it is. I see now what they were talking about. The wife fell asleep on it already. IT's the Ultra Low. 2011, 103 with 259 cams, 56mm TB. He put a lot of money into this bike. All I really want to add is another air cleaner. He pulled the one that his wife gave him and the infinite wisdom of the Dealership they tossed on a stock air cleaner. So it's a bit choked off right now. Still pulls like mad. +2 sweepers for sure. and the running board extenders.

Great bike. You will love it. love that area as well. Go up there all the time. Wife is talking about going up there this weekend for the day. Might be eating lunch and drinking a bottle of wine at that park.

Saweeet!

I'm about to make the jump.

I love my Super Glide. I bought it because I love to ride, and because I like to push it a little bit in the twisties. But, I've started to take longer rides, and multi-day rides, and I've surprised myself because I'm actually considering a Touring model. I've been pretty much set on a Road King, because I have zero interest in the electronics, and I like the fact that I can take the windshield off and make it a "real" motorcycle when I'm not out on the road.

However, I know two very, very experienced riders; HD engine builders and pro racers, and they both told me: "If you have that Super Glide because you love to ride, and you're considering a Touring mode, get the Road Glide". The explained the physical advantages to having the fairing attached to the frame and not having it on the front forks, and it makes perfect sense to me.

Waiting to see what the '16s look like!

Thanks guys. Be adding a lot more miles soon. I rode the ST to Gettysburg for bike week. Left Gettysburg on the RG. Love the cruise control. Riding out to Philly area on the 8th is the plan right now. Work will dictate that. It's 450 each way.
