Maybe justa dumb question: Can slip-on's be added tostockpipes? Was riding with a few friends and I couldnt hear my ride at all ,I just got it and really dont have too much more $$ to spend next season will I will able to hopefully do a lot to it,but now I cant . Just happy to be out riding!! Thanks
That is where the term Slip-ons came from, they slip onto your stock head pipes, simple 20 minute operation. Just remember that some freeer flowing (louder) pipes will require either a rejet of your carb or a re tune of your ecm (fuel injected) for the bike to run right.

What he said! www.fuelmotousa.com has package deals onslip-ons , pc111(pre-mappedfor your set-up), k&n a/f. I just purchased the Rush slip-on package deal from them , $687 shipped to my front door.
If you want to be heard. Try SuperTrapps Mean Mothers.
Everybody tells me they love the sound. I have them on my superglide.
Performance & Sound are Great. as far as price. just as much as everything else. But i bought them from American Motorcycle Accesory Warehouse. saved about $135.00
Here's a tip from a member that has been riding baggers since '96. I've owned a boatload of slip-on mufflers.......some WAY too quiet, some WAY too loud, some sound empty for a lack of a better word. I thought my Samson Rolled Thunders got a little loud, so I took the advice of a fellow forum member and bought a pair of B&E Superflow mufflers from Bob on eBay for 203 dollars on eBay. These are modified '07 double-wall stock take-offs he gets and modifies. I thought I'd take a chance for 200 bucks delivered since these are slash cut....as those that are stock on a StreetGlide. Straight cuts are 25 bucks less. These have the 2" baffle and are deep sounding...much like what we used to expect and love....that true Harley rumble...but quite docile and mellow at 3000rpm. I can hear my stereo. Great mufflers at least half the price.
This fella is up in Michigan. On vacation for about 10 more days, Ithink. Maybe rounding up more product to sell on eBay. I'm not associated with this product at all, except for being a very happy consumer and passing the word............check it out on eBay.
Zen:
Check the above post. I was stunned with my gamble of 203 bucks. If Bob gets struck by lightning or something untoward, I understand Rush is a good product as well......but I'd guess more expensive. The cool thing about the B&E is that they are doublewall stockers...different part number than the el crappo '06 units. Won't blue. 150/165 bucks plus USPS delivery is insanely cheap for these units.
I'd buy another set. My buddies here in Tulsa are all over it.
A buddy of mine has a set of Rineharts on his Electra Glide and they sound great a really deep sound,...they are loud but not obnoxious though.
John
I got to agree, the Rineharts sound as good or better than any others. I have D&D and I liked them till my buddy got his Rineharts.
Also, if you are only doing slip-ons, you will not need any downloads or tuner.Once you go with new air cleaner you will need a download or some sort of tuner.
