Brake Pad Replacement
I installed the Lyndell red pads in the rear and have been un happy for the same reason. So when I put front pads on I just went OEM as I got almost 40,000 miles on them. They cost a little bit more but they sure do work!
EBC double H sintered, bought 3pk from Amazon and got one heck of a deal.
Because after the moco blows smoke up your *** enough, you will realize the little trademark on the parts doesn't account for ****.
EBC produces an excellent product for far less than HD branded brake pads and they won't blow smoke up your *** and tell you the rear pad is not only different but (therefore) costs more. Total BS!

that's not just the ebc pads that do that. the stock ones do it too. it has to do with the pad edge and the drilled holes in the rotor.
I've read about trimming the edges (I think?). Does that work? Really don't like the noise. Thanks for your thoughts.
have a white bike,,, I find OEM pads create a lot of dust for a bagger and coats rear rims and bags after just a long day's ride... I'm sure some know what i mean.. OEM are good quality pads i think, just dust is more than what i would like.
i've heard some folks chamfer the leading edge of the pad. don't know if it works or not.
