I am looking at replacing the stock spoke 16in front wheel with mags. I really like the enforcer wheel. What is the big difference between the 17in front and 19in front in ride quality. I know i am limited in tire options when it comes to the 19in.
Good question! What you will find is that all Harley front wheels in 16", 17", 18" and 19" diameters have a similar overall rolling diameter, due to each size using a shorter sidewall height. So theoretically the larger rim sizes will have less 'cushion' to ride on, although the brand of tyre carcass can also affect actual ride quality. I'm in the process of swapping my 16" front for an 18", but have yet to ride it.
Ride quality- cannot really tell the difference given state of repair of US roads,
Tire costs, the 19 will be more expensive than the 16 or 18 and tire options will be focused to a few manufacturers
Tire availability, if you need a tire in the middle of no where USA, you could get the honor of checking out local sights for a couple if days. Ive been there, its no picnic.
Stay with a size that is readily available as much as possible or be prepared to feel it in your wallet

If your purpose is to ride your bike distances and not locally than this aforementioned point should be considered. In all cases a 16" wheel will provide the most comfortable ride. A 17" will offer the best performance rubber and you can get radial tires that weigh in at 9# each, that is why I use it on my FXR. I use 16" on both my modified Bagger and Dyna front & rear. Sidewall is key to comfort in the question of tires. Those are the facts.
cmon, there are guys running 26s across country. with the 19" enforcer being stock now on touring you should be able to get a tire at any dealer in america and beyond. buy what you like. it will ride fine.
I put a set of Enforcer wheels on my 2012 RGU and don't really notice any difference in the ride quality, although with the shorter side wall height there is less cushion from the tire. Also I got my set that were take offs from a brand new bike, less than 10 miles, the colored stripes were still on the tire and the front discs were included, for $500 plus $100 shipping from a dealer. This was about what the local dealer wanted for two new tires on the OEM wheels.

my *** may not be as calibrated as some as i've never been able to quantifiably 'feel' a difference between the 16'', 17'', 18'' or 19''.
as far as availability goes, if you're sticking with stock harley sizes, you should be able to get any one of those sizes at pretty much any dealer.... as far as costs, my 19'' tire is $192, while the 16'' tire on my 2007 road king was $211.....

I agree as well with only 1 noted difference...The 19" tire and wheel to me "feel" as if it sticks better in the twists with less sidewall flex. Otherwise the ride is the same. Aftermarket options are limited on the 19" front tire but they are catching up. As stated earlier, any dealer should have a 19" in stock should you need one in an emergency. I found a 19" American Elite for $100 through RevZilla.
