Default Front fork noise

Noticed that my 97 Electra Glide Classic is making some noise from the front left fork. If I sit on the bike and push down I can hear it and also when riding at low speeds going over a bump I can also hear it. Any idea of what could be causing it? Thanks

When I sit on it and bounce down its a squeaking noise. I really don't feel anything just hear the noise when I bounce on it or go over bumps at a low speed so I can hear it. Not sure if that helps

Is it a rubber squeak like a wet athletic shoe on a tile floor or a metal on metal squeak? How many miles, has the fork oil ever been changed? Slim chance it could be the fender mounts flexing. Grab the fender and push it and pull it in the direction of tire rotation and the reverse. Turn the handle bar full one way and push the fender farther in that direction, then try the opposite direction. Don't be overly aggressive as the fender is pretty thin and can buckle or bend. Any squeak with any of these actions? If it is the fork seal O rings being dry there will be quite a bit of disassembly required to reach the inner fork (top) slide under the cow bell. A drop or 2 of fork oil on the upper fork piece, then run the fork in and out and that should lube the outer O ring. Wipe the inner slide dry so dust doesn't collect and "sand paper" the seal as the fork works. Then reassemble.

Perhaps louder pipes would be easier.

It's more of a wet athletic shoe sound than a metal on metal. After seeing this I did push/pull on the fender like you suggested. No noise.
Bike just hit 50K miles and I heard back from the sellers daughter. She said her father didn't think the fork oil had ever been changed.

After 50k miles fork oil will be like water, and is due a change. And if you're doing an oil change I'd throw a set of fork seals at it at the same time.

Going to do an oil change and see in my manual it calls for 7.75 oz per fork. I don;t see anything on the size of fork seals?
