Does anyone know if a 2007 96 inch Touring motor will bolt right in to a 2000 Road Glide? Thanks.

 

no it will not.

 

Bill is right, while the engines look very similar the TC96 and later will not marry up to your TC88 transmission. On your bike, for example, the oil pipes from your oil tank (under the trans) are external rubber hoses, while on the TC96 there are no pipes as the oilways are entirely internal.

grbrown, thanks for the explanation. I thought that might be the case. Will the swap work with a 2007 motor and tranny?

 

Not without frame mods I am pretty sure.
