I know this may sound funny but when I use my (Harley) MP3 player I have to turn the volume up all the way in order to hear the darn thing. I used media player to down load the songs I wanted and everything seemed to be fine but could I have messed up somewhere. When I switch back to the radio it blasts away like crazy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I'm no stereo expert but I noticed my old MP3 player didn't "push" enough sound thru the radio even with the player all the way up and radio all the way up. I got a new one (clix) and it's made a big difference.
So I go 1/8â cable out of my (XM or MP3 player) to RCA plug in to the line amp. then RCA plug out to 1/8â cable to the front AUX hole. This works great, I hide all the wires and the amp in the fairing. The amp requires a 12 V power source.
I don't see any type of volume control on the player, simple controls just stop, start, rewind, and fast forward. Unit plugs into the front jack on my radio. I kind of feel that it may be some type of setting that needs to be made in the PC Media Player controls. If I am on the right track please let me know.
