SafetyMan, forgive my ignorance, but what does "UOA" stand for?
Used oil analysis.
I have a good friend who is **** about catching a sample and sending it in.
He ran Amsoil 20w50 Vtwin forever, and sent in for analysis every time. After 30k miles or so, he tried Mobil1 20w50 Vtwin, and his analysis came back better, so he continued to use it.
He convinced me through his footwork to change to Mobil1.
Not saying Amsoil is bad at all, because it is a very good product. M1 is easier for me to get and usually cheaper. Just ordered 2 cases from Pep Boys on sale for like 7.30-something a quart.
As others have said, as long as you're running a quality oil, and are vigilant on service intervals, you can't really go wrong.
