Looking at a 2004 Road King Custom and I know I will be changing handlebars. My question is, if I go to the Road King Classic bars will all the cables work? It appears to me if anything they may be too long.
P.S. I have been away for awhile. Getting up there in years and sold my last bike (05 Ultra) last year and thought I was done. Rode for almost 50 years and just can't get it out of my system so looking for another bike.
Not sure what's different about the RK Custom bars, but I have a two sets of bars for sale cheap for the RK. One is the stock bars off an 04' RK and the other is the HD Heritage Style bars with heat. PM me if interested.
If you go with the heritage bars nothing to change. Just mount and go. I put a set of KST customs mayhem 16' S on today. Crazy cool, love them. If you get heritage bars get the 08 bars, not the heritage type. When you see them you'll know what I mean.
