A friend is buying a 2004 Road King. He wants handle bars similar to mine I have a 2012 RGU with Heritage Style Bars.

What do they make similar that will fit his bike w/o having to replace/extend any cables, lines or wires.

 

HD Reduced Reach Bars or HD "Heritage Style" Road King Bars. No cable changes necessary with either. The reduced reach bars allow for the electrical wiring to be run internally however you'll probably need to extend some or all of the wires (but not cables).

You can use the '08 and up bars however the right side bar will be a little shorter to accommodate the TBW thingy or you can order the ones for that specific year.

PS: If you do a search, you'll find a pictorial tutorial on how to install them yourself. Its for a 2011 if I remember correctly but same idea.
