Anyone have any secrets that makes it easier to get the exhaust gaskets in place? Was going to put my new Drago 2's on so I purchased new exhaust gaskets from HD as Drago recommends. Pulled the old ones out with no problem but cannot get the new ones to go in without damage. Rear one went in fine but the center of it ballooned out all the way around it for some reason. Don't know why it done that. Cannot get the front one in at all. Tried pushing it in by hand like the rear one with no luck and tried getting it started then using old pipe and flange to push it in, also with no luck. It just messed it all up. Thought about using some sandpaper on the gaskets to touch them up a bit. What do you all do?
I put a little grease on it then hold it over the hole so that it is even all the way around and then push it in even and straight. You will get a small area where the seam is that bumps out when you push it in, but it's just that one little area.
The Drago pipes are not tapered like the stock pipes are where they go into exhaust port. The Drago's have a longer throat with just a slight roll on end of them instead of the taper that the stock has. It doesnt seem to fit down into the cone gasket. The end is almost same size as the gasket. Should I maybe try the flat gaskets? Has anyone out there installed the Drago 2's and what gaskets did you use?
I have had a Dragula and now have a Rush Wrath which is pretty much the same pipe. I've used the Cometics on both. I have never had a sealing problem with these.
I had problems installing new gaskets on mine as well. I had seen a youtube video where a guy installed them with a bearing race driver. I tried that and worked like a charm. I'll have to try to remember the freezer thing for next time.

Did you use the flat gasket or the cone gasket? I seen that video. Guess I'll have to find a set of those.
