For Neutral, I always click down to 1st then back into neutral. Habit maybe, but I rarely have issue getting into neutral on any bike I've had. 2nd into neutral frequently clicks past into 1st for me. For the Bluetooth, be sure you are up to date on the firmware for the radio....or at least which one guys on here say work correctly. I am running 18.3 and have no Bluetooth issues other than having to go in and turn the option back on once in awhile, and then it syncs immediately.

Same for me. Still being a relatively new Harley rider I too found N hard to find sometimes. I find if I click down to 1st and use the heel shifter, it's much easier.
I just recently traded an 07 Ultra Classic for the 2015 Street Glide. I'm also having fun with Neutral on occasion but glad to hear it gets better with miles. I didn't get the headset so I went straight to USB and that works good. Throw all your tunes on it and your set for the long ride.
Try this trick...........from 1st gear put a little pressure on the shifter towards neutral, rev the engine a little and as it slows back to idle it should slip into neutral. I use the heel portion but it will work with the toe as well.
Finding neutral can be a pain in the *** depending on the bike. There are mods and techniques that can help but sometimes all I am able to find is frustration.
You can do the Heim joint (rod end bearing) mod to the shifter linkage, the greasing the shifter shaft or installing a Pingel shifter shaft that has a grease Zerk fitting to make greasing easier, modifying the shifter shaft housing and install a Zerk fitting, use a technique where you barely blip the throttle to get into neutral, slightly let the clutch out when up shifting from 1st gear and they all sound great in theory.
I've tried them all and have had a small amount of success with each but no sure fire way to find neutral every time no matter what.
My latest discovery has been that the cooler the engine and trans are, the easier it is to find neutral on a almost stock 103. Like on a hot day when you first start out and before the bike get really warmed up, it is so easy to find that sweet spot. I even took the adjustable doors off the lower fairings so that the engine will get more air flow and that helped.
I bought the bike second hand and it came with true duals and the stage 1 download already installed. I think this is where the real problem lies. I NEVER get under 48 mpg and have on occasion gotten 51 mpg. The true duals are underwhelming at best and give up most of the low end torque so she is slow out of the gate.
I have ordered some new pipes for the bike, V & H power duals with high output mufflers and as soon as they are installed, I will have it retuned and put on the dyno to fix the air/fuel ratio.
I guess the whole point of this post is to let folks know that with finding neutral, as is not as it seems. I will report back as soon as all the work is done with an update.
Sorry, didn't mean to hijack this thread...
The only time I try to find neutral while running is at toll booths. Otherwise' I don't put the bike in neutral until after shutting down, which makes it much easier.
Other than all the tips already covered, all I can say is, its just the nature of the beast.
