Hello I just purchased my first Harley a 2015 Road Glide, Love the bike but having 2 problem with it, Why is neutral so hard to find? seriously I look so silly every time I ride with my friends and their already off their metric bikes and I'm still trying to get in neutral. (I've rode Bikes and ATV's my entire life)
2nd the Bluetooth is awful I don't know if its my Iphone 6+ or the Bike but it only works correctly 50/50 I gave up and just started using a USB thumb drive.
neutral will get easier as the tranny breaks in, clutch adjustment will also help,if the clutch drags even a little it makes neutral tough. u will now hear about using different brands of gear lube. i agree with gear lube but only after it breaks in.with good clutch adjust and 5-10,000 miles u won't have a problem.
Why not just shut off in gear? About the only time I put it in neutral is to roll it backwards out of the garage. Just wondering cause I might learn something.
There isn't a clutch adjustment on the newer hydraulic clutch equipped bikes but, as already mentioned, it does get a bunch easier once you get some miles on it. At 6K on mine it's about perfect.
As has been said, the neutral just gets easier to find the more miles that you put on it. As for the Bluetooth, just use a thumb drive. Then you never have to worry your phone getting stolen if you leave it in the bike.
