Really sorry to hear about that. I know your frustration a few weeks ago my bag fell off due to the recall not being done (I had just picked up the bike it was 2 weeks old). I'm still waiting on my bag from Harley.

I was thinking about bolting mine to the bike. Just nut and bolt. Simple, and effective.

Yes it is but then you need a tool to take them off.

how is this any different from stock?

in a theft deterrent kinda way, no offense but, a few more twists and it comes right off ??

Id rather need a tool to take em off as opposed to just fingers....granted, if the thief really wants he hell get em

If the bag is locked you can't get to the handle to turn the screw. The handle is on the inside, I just don't need a tool to unscrew it. It would be very hard to get it out from the outside of the bag unlike stock which takes half a turn.

I have the same ***** and love them. Had the locking kit with the security key, hated fumbling around for the tool to remove bags.

The stock pins, aside from falling off, can be removed in less than 10 seconds with a flathead screwdriver. No need to get into the bag.

I would rather take and extra 10 minutes to use the tool and take it off then spend another $1100 on bags.
