Thanks, will start checking and testing as soon as my left hand works again. Recent encounter with a deer put me out of commission since 7/10. Was supposed to get all the pins removed from my hand today but one got stuck and they worked like hell to get it out. I'm bandaged back up and only have full use of one hand for a couple more weeks.

There's good and bad news if it does turn out to be the regulator. The bad news is the cost, $235.50 for the last one I bought, just a few weeks ago. The good news is it's a very easy change out. About a 3 beer job.

Well, I got such a good deal on this bike that I could afford the HD warranty on it. Bought a 3 year so I'll just drop it at the dealer if/when it does it again, which I'm sure it will. No matter what's wrong it will cost me 50 bucks. But I will check all connections as soon as I have 2 hands again and if all looks good I guess I'll just wait for it to fail.
