Got my first!
I have seen a lot of show on the tube about the history of Harley. I bought a four dvd set at Sams club that deals a lot with the history. Also, since you are now a member of H.O.G. (you should be with a new bike) you will be receiving a couple of magazines that have some stuff on the history of HD. Also, was a Barnes and Noble the other day and saw a book on the history of HD in the clearance section. Check ebay, lots of stuff there to get you familiar with the company. I am a nut about learning new stuff about thing that interest me. I am a casino dealer by trade, but spend countless hours reading about the history of gambling. Well, that was before the bike came along, and this forum. I spend each night on this forum, reading all I can on my harley. I have been riding motorcycles for 21 years, but until I bought my rk custom a year ago, a motorcycle was just a mode of transportation. Now, it is so much more... to me.
Also, make sure you buy the hd service manual, if you have not picked one up. And use this forum. Lots of good people with a lot of information to share.
