New owner from Oregon
Howdy all, been lurking around reading for the last couple weeks figured I should at least say hi and introduce myself.
Avid rider for many years, just could never bring myself to pull the trigger on a Harley. Had to sell my last bike last year about this time. Got my stuff together and it was time to buy another bike....I thought maybe I will just something else for now and get a Harley later. Always wanted one. Well then my brain said "Dude you are 60....when exactly are you planning on doing this?" haha
So I picked up a beautiful 2008 Street Glide. Previous owner took great care of it so it is a great looking and running used bike. 45k miles on it, so he rode it enough.
First actual ride with it last Saturday and it was fantastic. Very comfortable, smooth and handles like a dream. I am very impressed! Glad to finally step up and join the ranks of Harley owners.
Living in Eugene, Oregon, there are tons of beautiful rides to be had around here. looking forward to revisiting my favorites with the new bike.
