Was thinking of buying the yellow bike lift at sears but was wondering if it takes two people to use it. ( one guy to set on bike and hold it upright and another guy to slide the jack under and raise it to bottom of bike ) I've seen the demo for the pit bull jacks and its just a one man operation, pretty cool to. But the pit bull is a little pricey at 415.00 plus shipping. While the sears jack is on sale for 149.00
Great jacks... slide it in on the right side of you bike .... and lift. No tie-downs... single person operation. You can(if you want) sit on your bike while it is up on the jack.
I just pickup a bike jack up at K-Mart was outwith the wife and came across a bike jackthey sell for 89.00 this jack was 1/2 price so I thought what the hell for the price might as well try it.... the thing works great handles the bike nicely and I use it by myself
good luck
I second that Ice-man. I just finished the total 10,000 mile service. Pulling on torque wrenches, removing gas tank. Oil changes. Best money Ive spent on the bike. PERIOD! Look at the J&S demo and you will understand. Almost as good a dancing partner as the wife! Dan
I have the one from Tractor Supply. It will not slide under the bike when the bike is on the jiffy stand. I just grab the handle bar and hold the front brake on, then raise the bike off the jiffy stand and slide the lift under. Would be eaisier with two people, but I get it done.
The sears jack will not fit under neath my Ultra, you have to tip the bike back then slide the jack under it. I have a J$S Jack about $250 the only thing I do notlike about it is, it could use a bar to drag it around.

I have the yellow sears jack and it is a breeze to use with one person. I also have a red one I got from Sam's 6 or 7 years ago, but the foot pump is a PITA. The old one seems a little more stable, but the yellow sears should do everything you want it to for normal maintenance.
I have the Sears $149 yellow motorcycle jack and it is great. It easily fits under my RKC, and I put the bike up and down on the jack byself without difficulty.
