Riding season is 5 maybe 6 months tops, if you are hard core.
I ride almost every day with longer rides on the weekend
Bike is parked generally by Halloween to tax day due to snow and sub zero temps.
I have ridden once in 6 years in December and 2 times before April 1st. With our short season you have to be dedicated to get riding time in or you will miss out
Every day. I ride an hour commute one way, to and from each day. Almost 18,000 miles in just 8 months.
Only one issue so far with the bike, shifter shaft splines stripped on the front shaft, inside primary side. Although it didn't leave me stranded, I noticed the excess play on a trip over Labor Day weekend. I stopped at a HD shop on the way home and it was replaced and back on the road within 30 minutes. Kudos to Chattanooga Harley Davidson in Columbus GA.
My riding season is usually April 1st to December 1st. I commute to work on the bike and use it for running errands, going to meetings and usually get a long ride in each weekend, and at least one several day vacation each season.
I ride Spring, Summer, and Fall weekends. I rarely ride to work during the week because I have to wear business/office attire and those polyester pants just don't cut the wind.
