Have used a similar product to protect paint where the 2up seat hits the fender on the softail. It works great and not easy to see. Application is a bit tricky. If you get any air bubbles then the film is noticeable. Also, once you lay it down, do not pull it back up otherwise lots of small air bubbles will be there. It is worth the effort and the product you are looking at maybe easier to use.

I have Hogskins on my 15 RGS and I'm very pleased with it. I found a local window tinter to install it, since I didn't feel I had the skills to do it myself and didn't want to chance messing up the install. The template doesn't cover the rear fender though. Call and ask for Terry.
