3000 RPM vibration

I had the same thing crop up on my 2015 Road Glide the other night. Vibration 2500-3000. It was cold, 35 degrees, so I was thinking all the rubber mounts were shrunk down or stiff. I checked the muffler mounts and found quite a bit of wiggle. Spoke with the service manager at the HD dealer and he said I could test the mount by zip tying the hanger mounts. Just tried it a few minutes ago and the vibration is pretty much gone. going to pick up some muffler hanger mount tomorrow.

Find another mystery to solve. Ride it. If it's something important it'll become apparent (given you checked all the important stuff already as stated).

I'm thinking a harmonic vibration of the primary chain, there is a lot of chain being slung around down there. I can remember a final drive "chain" bike sending vibes up in to the frame and swing arm, a minor adjustment and the vibe would go away.

2009 Street Glide here to and this was my culprit. I am too ashamed to admit how long it took to find this. I almost sold the bike.
